If your Audio Technical 60-Series turntable platter has the "wiggle wobbles" (and makes a scraping sound) when it rotates, I'll bet it's because someone shipped the table without first removing and isolating the aluminium platter (like A-T did when the turntable was packaged new).

AND NOW YOUR SPINDLE/GEAR ASSEMBLY RIVET IS LOOSE AND BENT!

If you own your own machine shop, you can probably repair the part. Otherwise...

I have serviced over 50 of these tables and figured I could just call the U.S. headquarters for A-T in Stow, Ohio and order the part.

Guess again! The only way one gets this part is by salvaging a good part from a scrap table.
