For your consideration is this rare battery-operated tin litho Yonezawa M-27 Moon Detector Space Toy, made in Japan in the 1960's. It does "not" work, the Battery compartment shows some corrosion although battery contacts inside the toy are pretty clean. The problem appears to be the contacts on the door where most of the corrosion is, please take a good look at the pictures. It is missing its top dome and antenna; I have seen both of these parts available on eBay in the past. It also looks like the rubber tracks are replacements. The toy is quite clean with moderate age wear, there is a few small dents on top, but a new dome would cover most of that. The plastic "Glass" ends of capsule do not show cracks or hairlines. It is a very rare toy, but it is a pity it does not work. Not sure what's wrong with it. A great toy with a little work!
