Modify Instructions:

The Video also clearly showing the modify steps and sample reviews(the last 1 minutes), This is the NO 0.71x version. only need to the Step 1 and Step 2.

Step 1

Firstly please use the screw driver to detach the 3 screws in the V lens, use a little force to hold the rear mount when detaching.

No need do operate in other parts of lens. Then we install the black color mount in modify kit. tighten it by 3 screws come w/ the modify kit. Make sure the side which have red dot is to upwards.

 

Step 2

Connect the PL mount to the lens.

 

Use the 6 screws come w/ the kit to fix the mount.

it could be use as a normal PL mount lens now.

Step 3

Install the 0.71x optical if you need the 0.71x focal reducer.

the optical kit include 2 parts, the optical and the screw nut which use to connect the optical to PL mount.

Screw the optical kit to the PL mount. the lens have been modified successfully!

The XPImage\'s modify set for the V lenses is specially designed to convert the M645 lens to the Arri PL camera, allowing V mount lenses to be mounted onto PL camera bodies. 

 

This solutions is to instead the XPImage V-PL adapter.  which have limitation in PL cine bodies. (the previous adapter can\'t install to all of the PL cinemas. but only a few could be use. So XPImage publish this modify solution and make it work for most of the PL mount cinemas)

 

NOTE: With this adapter, the lens will fit physically, but automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, and other auto functions will not work, only manual model will be available.
