Up for bid is an English sterling souvenir spoon with a Greek temple style finial by Saunders & Shepherd. The spoon is 4 1/2 inches long and weighs 15 grams.  The bowl is lightly gilded over a stippled surface.  The handle has a square twisted stem and is topped with a Greek temple, significance unknown.  The piece has not been monogrammed.  It bears London hallmarks for 1896-97 and a maker’s mark of [CS*FS].  It is also marked “RdNo 178792” on the handle side (not shown].

Condition on the spoon is fairly good.  There are just normal signs of use.  A nice little souvenir spoon!
