Condition: Book has wear and water/liquid damage.....wear includes many white scuff marks across the front and rear covers as shown...bottom corners also bumped with exposed material underneath...book binding does remain tight and solid......water/liquid damage includes some dark staining to bottom of inside cover and opposing front end page as shown....throughout the book as well there are wavy crinkles to either the very bottom of pages and /or the very top corners of pages(see example photos)...with this being said the pages are all bright, clear and completely unmarked: no writing, highlighting or ripped / torn pages.....sold as-is...you will receive exact book shown in photos.
This rare and very large oversize book measures 18.25 in x 15.75 in and is chock full of beautiful charts and color illustrations which paint an incredibly complete picture of the California water system in the 1970's. The charts are backed by extensive text which covers this very topical subject in detail. A very interesting read in light of California's current water shortages, the changing climate and the resulting politics of this issue.
