The vintage bookplate of  Sir Alexander Don of Newton, Baronet. The bookplate measures 3 5/8  inches high by 2 3/4 inches wide. Surface damage, thus, fair condition.

Sir Alexander Don, 6th baronet (baptised 5 May 1780 – 11 April 1826), of Newton Don, was a Scottish landowner, an officer in the British Army and a Member of Parliament (M.P.) from 1814 until 1826.
