Ploy Game of Strategy By Maneuver and Capture - 1970 - By 3M

This is a great strategy game by 3M. It has been opened, and is in great condition.

The game is dated 1970 on both the outside of the box and on the instructions. The game can be played by 2 to 4 players.

Since this is a bookshelf game by 3M, there is an outer sleeve. There is minimal wear on the outside. The color images are in nice condition on the front and back. There is a little wear on the bottom edge of the box.   

The objective of the game is to maneuver your playing pieces along the paths of the playing board in order to capture your opponent's lances, probes, shields or commanders. Parts can only move in paths in line with the indicators on each part. The strategy comes in knowing when to move a part and when to rotate a part so that it can move into a different direction. The first player to capture his opponent's commander or all of his shields, lances, probes is the winner.   

Here is what is included with the game:

36 plastic playing pieces in 4 different colors - one color for each player. There are extra pieces in 2 of the colors

Holder - 4 section plastic holder for the playing pieces. It has a cover as well. 

Playing board - plastic board that has two folded decks, and they are held together on the under side by two plastic clips

Instructions - The packing wrap for the board sections doubles as the instructions for the game.

This is a great vintage game. If you are a collector, you need to take a look. Perhaps you are looking for a great strategy game that is a little different. Perhaps you are looking for replacement parts for a game that you already have, give this one a shot.
