This hand crafted clutch bag was created by an indigenous lady working in Sarawak on the  island of Borneo. East Malaysia. It is based on a traditional pattern which is normally made out of rattan. Rattan is in short supply however, and this ingenious example is created from the kind of plastic binding material used to keep boxes closed. Glorious orange colour. It's a truly unique clutch bag. Could also be used for keeping important documents in one place.
