This 1939 Westchester & Putnam Counties road map was issued by the Standard Oil Company of New York (Mobilgas/Socony-Vacuum). This map is in excellent original condition as shown in the photo and came from the General Drafting Map Company archives. The stamp “Permanent File” on the front cover was put there by the General Drafting Company since this map is from their archival files.

I was fortunate to locate and buy several boxes of archival maps from the General Drafting Map Company after they were bought out by Langenscheidt and absorbed into the American Map Company. There is a wide variety of maps types and all are like new. Over the next few years, I will continue to offer many of these on eBay.
