Does it work for my floor/carpet?

we have found customers using bike mat in many different floors including carpet(low pile), laminate, inlaid linoleum, hardwood, ceramic tile, vinyl sheet, vinyl plank, concrete, etc. And the feedback is great.

Does the mat damage the hardwood floor over time?

NO, it will not damage it, our customer put it on wood floors now for a few months and it has zero scuffs, stains, etc. Its made out of wood floor friendly material!

Is it reasonable to cut this to size? Can you get a clean edge with a razor cutter?

Yes. If you use a straight edge you can certainly cut to size. While it’s a nice thickness, it’s definitely soft enough to cut cleanly with sharp razor.
