Antique Dentist Bellows Fletcher Russell and Co. Warring Manchester London

These antique bellows are a somewhat gruesome find: they were manufactured by Thomas Fletcher of Warrington, England - a registered dentist in the 1880's who went on to found a dental apparatus manufacturing business. These foot-operated bellows were for pumping gas to keep the patient relaxed while the dentist worked on their teeth. Still in working condition. Cast iron and leather.

Measures 15 1/2" tall, 21" long and 10 3/4" wide.
