Lot of four vintage (mid-1990s) handcrafted cat themed pins or brooches with bar pin backs. Three are made from a base of .925 silver, so they'll tarnish lightly over time, which is easily remedied with some silver or Purple polish to look like new if you don't like patina. They're all in very good condition, the fronts are almost like new, the backs are showing some age with pins slightly bent from use, but still functional enough to wear. What's included is listed below so please read the entire description and see all the photos to be sure of what you're getting if you decide to purchase, thanks!
- JJ Jonette (engraved initials on back) pewter cat laying in a basket, dangling a ball of yarn that moves freely when worn. Measures 3" in length including the dangling yarn ball, by 2" wide
- (unknown maker) a pair of sitting and snuggling cats with tails entwined, one silver with a glossy finish, the other has an embossed faux marcasite finish. Measures 1.25" wide by 1.5" tall
- (unknown maker) lying down kitty with tiny clear rhinestone eyes and dangling mouse. Brushed silver lying down kitty with tiny clear rhinestone eyes and dangling mouse. Measures 1.25" wide by 1.75" in length (including mouse)
- (unknown maker) stargazing kitty in the window scene, with back side stamped 'Made in Mexico .925', it's silver with a back view of gold vermeil kitty. Kitty's lower body has a dark surface scratch but the vermeil finish is so reflective, it's hard to see unless you're looking closely.
