Beautiful, hand-painted Nippon porcelain bowl featuring a central design of a colorful bird sitting on a branch with flowers.  The bowl also has a banding of aqua-green and the rim has a thin line of gold detail.  This piece is in good vintage condition, no chips or cracks, but there are some scratches from use on the interior and some scuff marks on the exterior.  The painting is not flawless in some areas, some fading in the gold around the rim, and one or two manufacturer defects.  A very attractive piece to use as a centerpiece or for display.
