My name is Carl Harris, I make pipes in my shop in London Arkansas and have sold over 500 of them. I also import a few factory seconds from Italy. If I make the pipe it is branded with a C (C for Carl) on the left (port) side of the Stummel Shank and I sell it for $80-$200. If I modify, repair, or enhance a factory second, I brand it with a C in reverse = Ↄ . After I am satisfied the pipe will be a quality smoking pipe I sell these pipes for $40-$60.

Description:

This is one of my hand carved pipes. This pipe was carved from a briar Ebauchon that was reportedly blocked in the 70’s. This Stummel is small sized and Acorn shaped. The finish is dark brown and rusticated/carved except for a clear band finish at the top of the bowl. It is fit with a 8.5” Black Round Taper vulcanite Stem that has 5 groves turned into the lower stem. The Stummel shank has a brass band. The Stummel is stained with Fiebings dark brown leather dye and the Stummel is buffed and has a coat of Carnauba wax on it. The draught hole is drilled to 5/32” and the stem is drilled with a tapered bit. The draw is open. The Drilling is well centered and on the bottom of the bowl. With the rusticated finish and churchwarden stem, this pipe should give you a very cool smoke. I will coat the bowl at no extra cost if you request it.
