Underground Ticketing System (UTS) cards in yellow are around credit card size and were used from 1987 until 1993 when pale pink coloured cards replaced them; advertisements on the rear started slightly earlier. All cards have magnetic strips on the reverse, most after 1987/88 carry conditions and a 4-digit print order code. TfL still uses UTS in modified form and hugely reduced quantities, as detailed in Wikipedia.
