This listing is for a rarely listed vintage key chain or key ring by Delvaux that’s in its original box. As you likely know if you are looking at this item, Delvaux is a Belgian manufacturer of fine leather luxury goods founded in 1829. The company is the oldest fine leather luxury goods house in the world. 

The keychain is a British tan leather imprinted in gold with “DELVAUX” and there’s the company’s stagecoach logo stamped on one side. The gold stamping remains strong. A brass color ring and brass color clip anchor each end of the leather strip. This item was never used and as such, is in wonderful vintage condition. There is some tarnish to the ring end that generally happened over the decades. See photos. The keychain measures 3 1/2” long and is 1” at its widest. 

The box has a chocolate brown lid imprinted in gold with “Delvaux. Creatuer.” The base of the box also is chocolate brown. The box measures 3 15/16” wide by 1 1/4” tall by 3/8” deep with the lid affixed to the box. The box is in very good vintage condition with minimal wear. There is an orange pen mark on the underside. The piece is from an estate of a woman who worked for Pan Am Airlines from the mid 1950s to the mid 1980s and traveled EXTENSIVELY. We know, we have her passports. She had wonderful taste as is evidenced in this and the other pieces we’re listing. Please see photos to supplement this description.

NOTE: We have LOTS of other sterling silver and costume jewelry listed from this estate. As we wrote, she traveled wildly and hadn’t gotten rid of anything since 1950.
