This one is so immensely wearable as the size is just perfect for wearing every day or at the most glamorous affair. It has stunning elegant period character and style. The flower is fully three dimensional. It is set throughout with rose cut diamonds in cut down collets. The flower is further adorned with a blue ribbon and green leaves in enamel. Diamonds were set in silver during the Georgian and early Victorian periods as it is a white metal and thus better reflects the light as white gold and platinum were not available. The brooch can be worn as a pendant by placing a chain under the pin stem as we have done. The brooch can also be easily converted to a pendant with a bale if desired. The brooch is 55mm (2 1/4 inches) long. It is 33mm (1 1/4 inches) wide and is 12mm deep. The rose cut diamonds are set in silver collets. The pin stem is 9 Karat gold. The pendant weighs 14 grams.
