This still has the plastic over the eyeshadows and the back of the "cassette tape" palette. This allowed shoppers to open the palette without ruining the eyeshadows. This product has not been tested on animals and states this on the case. Made of heavy cardboard. A must have for fans of makeup and Nickelodeon! This has been in my makeup case in my smoke free home.
