This is an original World War Two WW2 Army Air Force Navigator's Sextant Bubble Type AN 5851-1 Storage Container . This is a nice black box with no damage or scratches made by Bendix. It has the large rubber pads to support the sextant. This was used in large aircraft like Bombers and transports for carrying the sextant. This could have also been used by the USN and USMC. I do not have the sextant for this item. This box is 11 x 11 x 10 inches and weighs 15 pounds empty.
