Crumpsall Biscuits started in 1873 in England this is an early Biscuit tin from around the turn of the century.  It is usual from other tins that are like this as the Name is actually embossed on the bottom, not printed or left completely blank. This also has a hole where a wire was in place to keep the tin from opening.   Tin is in rough condition with various ages of paint loss, rust, tarnish dings and dents.  It is an example of a less common variant of said tin.
