This product is designed for the Japanese market at 100 VAC 60 Hz.
For 100% safety in the U.S. (120 VAC 60 Hz), use of a transformer is recommended.
Some people use this product in the U.S. at 120V without using a transformer. In fact, some users have reported that they were able to use FR301-81 at 120V without any problems.
If you wish to use this product at 120V, please do so at your own risk.
