This unit is fully operational and has been tested several cleaning cycles under several testing scenarios to stress its capabilities. It excelled during testing with an A+ rating. Ideal tool for homes with hard floors or tile that can use both capabilities vacuum and mopping. On this 1st generation of ECOVACS series X the mop capabilities can not cross carpet areas, for that is required to change the moping bin by the mopping bin. One characteristic that set this robot ahead of the robots of this generation is the when the mopping bin is installed it capable emptying the bin at the cleaning and charging stations ahead of other Brands like iRobot and Shark where their mopping bins require to be emptied manually. Also ahead of Roborock the whole moping bin moves left to right to scrub intensely the floors, Roborock robots only mode left to right a bar or two bars inside of the mopping pad reducing the scrubbing surface.
