This is a specialized 3D-printed phone holder that replaces the factory ashtray insert in all 1991 to 2000 Lexus SC300, SC400, and Toyota Soarer models. The 2-piece insert precisely fills the space within the ashtray receptacle and offers a secure and rotatable 17MM "ball" style adapter to attach a phone mount to. This holder assembly conveniently positions your phone lower down near the radio without obstructing the shifter or any HVAC controls. All parts are printed in strong and heat-resistant materials, and can be optioned to come with a full-body plastic or magnetic phone holder for a small additional cost. This is a great phone mounting solution for those who prefer to keep their existing "butterfly"-style cupholder or console cubby, and want something that is more easily installed and removed.

Keep in mind that the MagSafe ring and charger mount styles will only work with phones/cases that are MagSafe compatible – if your device / case does not allow for this, then only the standard plastic and basic magnetic mounts will work. Additionally, the basic magnetic mount will NOT support larger phones (> 220g) or thicker cases (> 1mm) due to limitations in strength of the included sheets.

10/9/2025 UPDATE: There are now two versions of the 'ball mount adapter' component to be as ergonomic for your shifter setup as possible. The adapter for the automatic transmission is the shorter one as pictured in the listing, and the manual one is slightly longer to move the mount out of the path of the shift throw.
Compatibility:
This ashtray phone holder is compatible with all 1991-2000 Lexus SC300, SC400, and Toyota Soarer models (both left and right-hand drive). It is a direct replacement for Lexus / Toyota part #74111-24060, which is the original ashtray insert.
Appearance & Customization:
All pieces for this ashtray phone mount kit will be printed with black filament, resulting in the dark and slightly glossy finish shown in the pictures.
The main surface of the replacement ashtray insert is wrinkle-textured to provide an OEM-style finish that is resistant to scratches and indents from prolonged use.

Fitment & Sizing:
This part is designed to be a direct replacement for the OEM ashtray insert without any modification necessary. It was modeled directly from a 3D scan to ensure a perfect and flush fit within the ashtray receptacle.
The ball-style mount adapter is designed in an ‘S’ shape to bring the phone mount closer to the driver and further away from the ashtray receptacle to minimize obstruction of the factory radio, AC controls, and shifter.
The round “ball” on the end of the adapter measures 17 millimeters in diameter to ensure compatibility with most automotive phone holders. This adapter is guaranteed to fit with the optional standard or magnetic phone holder attachments sold with this kit.
The optional standard phone holder that attaches to the 17MM diameter ball mount adapter can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally to accept phones ranging from 1.89” to 3.74” in width and up to 0.7” in thickness.
The optional magnetic phone holder that attaches to the 17MM diameter ball mount adapter has a 1.25" diameter round platform with 4 internal strong N52 magnets to keep the phone in place. If ordered, this style of mount will come with both a small and large magnetic sheet with 3M adhesive backing to stick directly to the back of your phone, be inserted between your phone and the case, or be stuck to the back of your phone case. For phone cases over 0.1" / 2.5MM in thickness, it is recommended to stick the magnetic sheet directly to the back of the phone case, as putting it under the case will decrease the magnetic force keeping the phone in place.
Installation:
Installation of the ashtray phone mount is incredibly quick; simply remove the existing ashtray insert by pulling it out, then replace it by sliding in the 3D-printed insert, ensuring the grooves line up with the inside of the ashtray receptacle.
With the insert installed, attach your phone holder to the 17MM ball end of the adapter by sliding on the retaining nut, pressing the phone holder over the ball, and then tightening the nut back down on to the holder once it is rotated into the desired position.
Finally, line up the other end of the ball mount adapter with the cutout in the replacement insert and press it downwards into place. The tight clearance between the insert and adapter should keep everything in place without any undue movement. You can always adjust the positioning of the mount by lining up different edges on the octagonal cutout to get your phone into the most comfortable position.
Material:
The replacement ashtray insert is 3D-printed in PETG plastic to provide both a clean surface finish and enough ballast (since it is a dense material) to keep the ashtray insert secure without any unwanted vibration or movement during driving.
The ball mount adapter is 3D-printed in ASA plastic to provide additional stiffness and temperature resistance to prevent any sagging or deformation as a result of prolonged usage or heat/sun exposure.

Due to the nature of 3D-printed parts, some small surface flaws and layer lines will be visible in the final product. I have done my best to optimize the fit and finish of the final printed parts and will conduct a quality and fitment check before shipping – however, please understand that these parts will not be 100% perfect in comparison to those made through injection molding by an OEM.
