Description: A Lester Breininger slip decorated redware loaf dish. It was a warm & sunny day on June 27, 1996 in Robesonia, Pennsylvania when this beautiful piece was crafted and decorated. In an oval and deep form, it measures 14 inches long with a chocolate brown appearance, yellow slip decorated wavy lines and a coggled rim. On the unglazed back, it bears the incision of his signature, date and weather. Add this slip decorated pottery to your Lester Breininger collection.
