It’s a 7 hours flight from Heathrow, then one and a half hours mainly Motorway drive from Halifax International Airport.  Google Earth Location 45°31'01.55" N  62°29'30.19" W.  (The Country of Iceland is about 4 hrs 15 mins flight time to / from Halifax).

Five Towns and the Ocean are within 20 mins drive from the Land & 30 beaches & 2 Ski-Resorts within a 4 hour drive radius. The Atlantic Ocean & Pictou (see photo) are 5 miles as the Crow flies.

Brits can own property in Canada exactly the same as Canadians plus visit for up to six months at a time without a Visa. (Retirees maybe 12 months). The new Owners can also apply for dual Citizenship ....

English is the main language in the Province and Canadians drive on the right side of the road.  Lots of great holidays to be had - Quad-biking, Canoeing, Fishing, Gold panning, Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowmobiling, Ice-skating, Wildlife watching, Mountain biking, Archery, Shooting to name a few.  

If you fancy a “Challenging Jaunt” the 15,000 mile long TransCanada Trail passes not too far the property, running from Cape Breton on the eastern seaboard, right across Canada and up to the Klondike. 

Important point for Worriers - there are NO Grizzlies, Mountain Lions or dangerous snakes in Nova Scotia as it's an "Island" joined by a built upon isthmus  (a land bridge) connecting it to mainland Canada.

The Ferry to the States is about a 3 hour drive away.

The Property has a multiple use Planning but can simply be used as a Recreational Retreat, RV base or Camp Site. A wide range of House Plans are available Online from the local Hardware Store and Materials delivered as and when needed during Construction. There’s also local very capable Builders & Tradesmen to do this work.

Option to Purchase: -Four Weeks for £1,000 (deducted from Purchase Price on completion).  This means any other interested Parties will be held-off for that period. Should you decide not to proceed, then this Fee will be forfeited.
