CHARMING Vintage children's mug from the 1950's mid-century era with sage advice from the time to "ALWAYS DRINK MILK."
This mug is adorned with a fawn on the body of the mug, as well as one that forms the handle. It is hand-painted, and is trimmed in blue paint. The mug is ADORABLE!
Anyone blessed to reach about 75 years old will have some age, but this little mug is faring well! There are no chips nor cracks, though there appears to be a slight ding to the underside ceramic ring from the manufacturing process. There are none to the body of the piece, though there are some small bits of extra ceramic that are glazed over. There are a couple of slight bubbles in the glaze and some crazing which gives it that RETRO charm. As a hand-painted piece, there are some areas of over paint, which existed at the time that it was brand-new. Please see photos for details, but note GLARE effect; some taken without bright lighting.
Approximate dimensions are: 2 3/4 inch mug diameter; 4 1/2 inches in length; 3 1/2 inches in height. Mug capacity is 8 ounces.
