This Tuya WiFi smart dual channel bidirectional energy meter is designed to
monitor electricity consumed and generated in single phase systems, including
solar and PV applications. It supports one or two channels for forward and
reverse energy flow, with real-time monitoring of power, current, voltage,
power factor, and frequency for each channel. Users can view total and
channel-specific electricity statistics including hourly, daily, monthly, and
yearly data.
A
key feature of this meter is the configurable threshold alarm. Users can set
threshold values for voltage, current, and power. When these values are
exceeded, the device triggers a buzzer alarm and sends a notification via the
app. The data reporting frequency can also be adjusted to meet monitoring
needs. This meter can be integrated into automation scenes with other Tuya
devices so that when power or current reaches a set value, other devices are
automatically controlled.
The
device supports AC voltage from 100V to 240V and a measurable current range
from 0.2A to 80A. Installation is safe and easy with clamp current sensors;
there is no need to change wiring, and the clamp is placed on a single wire,
either live or neutral. The meter ensures accurate monitoring of both energy
consumed from the grid and energy exported to the grid, provided the measured
circuit is in the same phase as the module.
