Das Problem: 

Durch die Bauweise dieser Maschine und die Lambda-förmige Bandführung über den Laderoller, sowie der unterdimensionierten Wickelmotoren, haben diese Maschinen das Problem, dass sich beim schnellen Spulen gegen Bandende die Geschwindigkeit verlangsamt, bzw. dass die Spulen komplett stehen bleiben, oder erst gar nicht anlaufen.

Auch mit neuen Riemen für die Wickelteller und sauberem Bandpfad lässt sich dieses Problem nicht vollständig beseitigen.

Natürlich sind neue Riemen und ein sauberer Bandpfad Voraussetzung für einen zuverlässigen Betrieb der Maschine.

Die Lösung:

Durch den Einbau dieser Platinen wird je nach Spulrichtung jeweils der gezogene Motor mit einer geringen Spannung versorgt und “schiebt” sozusagen das Band in Laufrichtung des ziehenden Motors. Dadurch wird der ziehende Motor entlastet und die Maschine spult wie erwünscht.

Es gibt eine zu nennende Einschränkung:
Beim Wechsel von schnellem Vorlauf zu schnellem Rücklauf, bzw. schnellem Rücklauf zu schnellem Vorlauf sollte zuerst die STOP-Taste betätigt werden, da es sonst je nach Geschwindigkeit eventuell zu Bandsalat kommen kann, besonders bei unterschiedlich großen Spulen.

- Individuell angefertigte Miniatur-Platinen, genau passend für die Akai GX-77.
- Fertig gelötete Platinen mit Verbindungskabel zum Stecken.
- Einfacher Austausch gegen die originalen Platinen.
- Auf jeder Seite werden die 6 Kabel von den originalen Platinen abgelötet und wie auf den neuen Platinen beschriftet angelötet.
- Die Platinen werden anstelle der originalen Platinen geschraubt.
- Das Verbindungskabel wird einfach gesteckt und in der Maschine verlegt.
- Von der rechten Platine wird zusätzlich noch ein Kabel zur Spannungsversorgung an die Steuerplatine angelötet.

The problem:

Due to the design of this machine and the lambda-shaped tape guide over the loading roller, as well as the undersized winding motors, these machines have the problem that when winding quickly, the speed slows down towards the end of the tape, or that the spools stop completely, or do not start at all.

Even with new belts for the winding plates and a clean tape path, this problem cannot be completely eliminated.

Of course, new belts and a clean belt path are prerequisites for reliable operation of the machine.

The solution:

By installing these boards, the pulled motor is supplied with a low voltage depending on the winding direction and "pushes" the tape in the direction of the pulling motor. This relieves the strain on the pulling motor and the machine winds as desired.

There is one restriction to mention:

When changing from fast forward to fast rewind, or fast rewind to fast forward, the STOP button should be pressed first, otherwise, depending on the speed, the tape may become tangled, especially with different sized spools.

- An additional wire for the power supply is soldered from the right board to the control board.
