Oleksandr Usyk is an undefeated Ukrainian professional boxer, undisputed world champion in the cruiserweight (2018) and heavyweight (2024) weight classes, the best boxer regardless of weight class according to The Ring magazine. Oleksandr is one of the most titled Ukrainian amateur boxers - multiple champion of Ukraine, European champion (2008), world champion (2011), Olympic champion (2012) and Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine. He has received the following state awards: Full Cavalier of the Order of Merit; National Legend of Ukraine and the Order of Freedom. At the beginning of russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the athlete set up a charity foundation to help the Ukrainian army and people, affected by russian aggression, and to support educational projects. The postal issue “USYK. The World Loves the Strong Ones” is a charity issue: the funds raised will be sent by Ukrposhta to the Oleksandr Usyk Charitable Foundation.
