This antique oval-shaped cameo necklace is truly a UNIQUE piece of jewelry that is perfect for any occasion. The white female bust on the blue background with blue beads rimming the gold bezel & chain eye is indeed eye catching, adding an elegant touch to the necklace. Bezel is made of brass and has a yellow gold plating, I think, making it a beautiful addition to any jewelry collection. The necklace is handmade and customized, with an Edwardian (1901-1910) era design that exudes beauty and sophistication. In addition, on the reverse side at 11 o’clock is a cartouche in which is either a maker mark/name or numbers - shown in the photos. Even under magnification, I am unable to read/decipher what specifically exists there. This lends high mystery to the item. I’ve seen a lot of of cameos, but never one this attractive to me. PLEASE NOTE-THE CHAIN IN THE PHOTO IS NOT INCLUDED!!
