This comprehensive HiSModel accessory package is designed for the USS Constitution 1:96 plastic model kit by Revell. It combines the principal upgrades required to replace the most visible plastic parts with precisely manufactured wood, brass, resin, cotton and photo-etched components.

1. Laser-Cut Wooden Deck
The deck is manufactured from 0.3 mm laminated veneer and is available in light beech or dark oak. It is precisely laser-cut to fit the plastic deck of the Revell USS Constitution 1:96 kit, including all corresponding openings.
Its plank layout follows documented period shipbuilding practice. It reproduces the perimeter waterway, historically appropriate plank arrangement, hooked plank endings at the bow, narrowing of the planks and marked treenails corresponding to the supporting deck beams.
The schematic arrangement is based on documentation published in The 44-Gun Frigate USS Constitution. The veneer overlay provides a more realistic deck surface and simplifies clean finishing compared with the original moulded plastic deck.
2. Blocks for Standing Rigging
The standing-rigging set contains 272 round deadeyes in three sizes. The dimensions correspond to the 1:96 scale and the documented rigging arrangement of USS Constitution.

3. Blocks for Running Rigging
This set contains 446 CNC-machined walnut blocks for the running rigging. The standard blocks have the British shape appropriate for USS Constitution and replace the corresponding plastic blocks supplied in the Revell kit.

5. Set of 25 Standard CNC-Sewn Sails
The complete standard sail set contains 25 sails sewn from pre-washed beige 100% cotton batiste with a grammage of 125 g/m². Studding sails are not included.
The sail construction represents the 1803-1815 period and is based on documented plans, period United States naval regulations derived from British practice, and information published in Anatomy of the Ship – The 44-Gun Frigate USS Constitution.

The sails reproduce historically appropriate edge widths, middle bands, buntline cloths, reef bands, corner reinforcements and mast cloths. Staysails and jibs are reinforced according to the documented period arrangement.

The set contains 24 laser-cut hardwood gun carriages for the visible upper-deck guns. They are designed from original carriage drawings for accurate proportions and straightforward assembly.

9. Black-Patinated Hooks and Eyelets for Gun Tackles
The photo-etched brass hooks and eyelets are designed specifically for the gun-tackle set described above. All supplied parts have a black patinated finish.

The calculated fitting requirement is 212 hooks and 268 eyelets. The supplied photo-etched sheets therefore include spare parts.
10. Historically Accurate 1812 Stern Upgrade
The stern upgrade contains resin castings of the ship’s stern, the hatches for the two lower gunports and the lifeboat davit arms, together with photo-etched window grilles.
The design is based on the 1812 stern appearance illustrated on page 67 of The 44-Gun Frigate USS Constitution by K. H. Marquardt. This corresponds to the period represented by the Revell model.
The resin components are engineered to fit the Revell plastic parts precisely. Replacing the original stern provides a significantly more authentic and historically accurate appearance.
11. Double-Sided Printed Cloth Flags
The set includes two sheets of flags printed in full colour on both sides of fine synthetic cloth. The fabric permits realistic shaping and natural draping on the finished model.
The flag designs, proportions and dimensions are based on documented historical sources and period naval regulations and are adapted to the 1:96 scale.
12. White Draft Scales
The set includes white draft scales in 1:100 scale, suitable for use on the 1:96 model. Draft marks indicated the depth to which the hull was submerged and were important for monitoring loading and trim.
Roman numerals were traditionally used. The combined height of each numeral and the following space represented one foot, allowing the draught to be read to approximately half-foot accuracy.
13. Additional Black-Patinated Photo-Etched Parts
The package contains additional brass fittings for the gunport lids, rigging attachment points, boat equipment and parral assemblies. All metal parts listed below are supplied with black patination.

Triple parral ribs are intended for the principal yards on the fore and main masts. Double parral ribs are used on the corresponding topsail yards. The included beads reproduce the parral trucks that allow the yards to rotate and move around the masts.

This recommended rope set provides the required natural-colour running-rigging ropes and black standing-rigging ropes in scale-appropriate diameters.

Important Package Information
This is a complete accessory package for upgrading the Revell USS Constitution 1:96 model. It is not a plastic construction kit.
The package includes standard sails only. Studding sails and sails prepared for furling are not included. The package also contains carriages for the upper-deck guns only; the 30 carriages for the main gun deck are not included.
