as there are so many variations and your needs differ.

Choosing what size collar to buy 

1" or 25mm are great for large dogs, come with 3mm gauge chain.

7/8" or 22mm are great for strong medium to large dogs, come with 3mm gauge chain.

3/4" or 19mm  are great for medium dogs, come with 2.5mm gauge chain.

5/8" or 16mm are great for strong small dogs, come with 2.5mm gauge chain.

1/2" or 12mm are great for small dogs, come with 2mm gauge chain.

Choosing what size to buy

Please buy a collar with your dogs neck size in the last 4" of the collar size range.

Dog neck measuring guide

The measuring guide below is only to help you get your dogs neck size, you then need to choose a collar that your dogs neck size fits within the last 4" of the collar size range.

When measuring your dogs neck for your choice of collar size, Simply hold a length of string or a tailors tape measure 

between finger and thumb in both hands.

Then run it around your dogs neck at the widest part, So both sets of fingers and thumbs on both hands meet together.

Keep holding the string or measure and straighten back out that then is your dogs neck measurement.
