1940s The Old Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme Book Thomas Nelson and Sons New York. The binding is loose. Plenty of scribbling in pencil throughout the book. There are torn pages and has very old tape taping the pages together. A few pages stuck to the tape and have torn from that binding. Christmas gift that has the book dated 1944 to a child from a friend in ink handwriting. There is wear on the corners and edges with damage on the cover and pages, possible water staining. Some rips and tears.No dust jacket.
