18in Tribal Necklace and Earrings by Glade Creek Tribal Art. This is a Super cute necklace with vintage African Batik bone beads, which i applied a clear coat, so their will be no wear or color coming off. They are a hand carved Camel bone. Species Camelus Dramadarius. The sky blue spacer beads are old trade beads from Europe. Trade beads were used as a currency along the trade route to Africa until the 1950s. They are in excellent condition given their age. I can remove the clear coat if you prefer a softer satin finish instead of the gloss. It's up to you! The bone beads at the bottom of the necklace are cow bone or species Bos Taurus. They are a vintage and hand carved bead. The silver beads at the top of the necklace were harvested from an old African necklace. I'm not sure what the metal is, so of course, they have a protective coating on them. If you are allergic to metal, you can always put fingernali polish on them, but i dont think it will be necessary. I used a heavy. 45mm nylon coated wire. The clasp and components are stainless steel. The earrings i think are maybe 3 inches, I can measured them for you. they are Sterling Silver wires. If you keep them in a plastic baggie, they won't tarnish for a very long time. (Tip)They can be cleaned with toothpaste and a cotton ball. I used a few coconut wood bead spacers also. I have more to post, share my store with your friends please. Thank you so much, Kimberly McNeice. Glade Creek Tribal Art
