Revision -C0
design departs from the original Pioneer AWM-091 design, that the revision -B0
duplicates.
Revision -B0 will not be sold as assembled anymore
In the original Pioneer design, the relay and protection circuits were operated from the +65V regulator supply on the AWR-106 Stabilizer/PS. The original and AWM-091(B0) designs draw ~40mA from the +65V
supply, imposing ~1.2W on that series pass regulator transistor, making it run hotter and is the cause of many +65VDC failures on the original design due to them running to hot, insufficient cooling
AWM-091-C0 is
designed like the AWM-123 (SX-1280) which powers the speaker protection relay and circuits from the available unregulated +70V(+62VU), thus eliminating the ~1.2W of heat
imposed on the AWR-106 +65V regulator pass transistor, making it operate much cooler
and increase it’s reliable.
Revision -C0
replaces the older tech, lower current relay, Omron MY4-02 DC24 with a modern
higher current G5RL-1A-E-TV8 DC48 type.

1) The pcb material is higher temp FR4 epoxy glass construction, LPI solder mask, double sided PHT, silkscreen legends
2) BYV34X-600 ,2x20A/600V low loss fast/soft recovery rectifiers with heatsinks
3) Connector pins are gold plated to prevent tarnish
4) Precision resistors, Nichicon or equivalent 105c ecaps. All current production parts
5) Easy installation/service, using the existing connectors and mounting plate
