This is 9.5" in diameter and is solid metal. I did not shine or clean the brass. Center shows details on a map of North Vietnam, South Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and China with key cities shown with a dot. See and enlarge photos. I was advised by a trophy company that it is possible for the current engraved message can be buffed out and a new engraving made.
