This set is for the three-volume North Carolina State set and it includes complete rosters of all the Confederate soldiers that fought in the Civil War from the State of North Carolina along with their units and other information. The three-volume North Carolina set includes 138,000 soldiers.
Part I: North Carolina Confederate Soldiers. An Alphabetical Roster by Full Name, Rank and Unit (to Company) of all the Confederate soldiers from the state.
Part II: North Carolina Confederate Military Unit Roster. This organizes the Confederate soldiers from the state into military units – artillery, cavalry, and infantry – with units under each category in numerical order and all the soldiers in each unit in alphabetical order. All these state rosters are also indexed to Confederate Service Records, unlike other rosters.
