Ooh, I love this one! This is a true Art Nouveau sash pin brooch, measuring 3 3/8" across and 2 1/4" top to bottom. It has an open C clasp. It has leaves, textured flowers, and snakes that serve as the prongs for the purple glass.
The faceted amethyst glass is open back, adding nice sparkle. The great work on the brass include cut-out work, etching, hammered places, raised designs (coming to a dimensional point at the middle), and an array of natural references. This is so Art Nouveau, in all the best ways.
