We are pleased to offer the updated Sonique 3 Exposed Shower Valve and Kit in Chrome from Bristan, a market leader in the industry. This is the improved version of the popular Sonique shower, offering updated visual brand markings for clearer operation while maintaining the same high levels of quality and performance.
One of the key advantages of the Sonique 3 is its suitability as a replacement shower. The adjustable elbow inlets allow installation on existing pipework centres between 110mm and 155mm, meaning in most cases there is no need for retiling. This makes it ideal for refurbishments, upgrades and like-for-like replacements.
The riser rail also features adjustable fixing brackets, which can often be aligned with existing drill holes, helping to make installation quicker and cleaner.
Safety, Control and Performance
The Sonique 3 uses a thermostatic cartridge with a preset temperature safety stop, helping to provide safe and stable showering for all the family. The thermostatic system maintains a consistent temperature even if water pressure changes elsewhere in the home.
This shower is suitable for all UK plumbing systems and performs from 0.2 bar up to 5.0 bar, making it ideal for low pressure systems as well as high pressure installations.
The cartridges are accessible from the front, making servicing and maintenance straightforward.
Handset, Finish and Build Quality
The supplied rub-clean handset allows limescale and debris to be easily wiped away using a finger or cloth, helping to keep the shower performing at its best with minimal effort.
The chrome finish is hard-wearing and scratch-resistant and has been salt spray tested for long-term durability, ensuring it maintains its appearance even in daily use.
The valve body is manufactured from brass for strength and long service life.
Technical Information
Finish and colour is chrome. The main construction material is brass. The shower uses a thermostatic control system and is supplied as a complete kit with adjustable riser rail.
The maximum hot water supply temperature is 65°C. Minimum dynamic pressure is 0.2 bar and maximum dynamic pressure is 5 bar. Maximum static pressure is 10 bar.
Inlet connections are 15mm compression and the outlet connection is G 1/2”.
Flow rates through the handset (mixed) are approximately 1.7 l/min at 0.2 bar, 5.4 l/min at 0.5 bar, 7.6 l/min at 1 bar, 8.3 l/min at 2 bar, 8.8 l/min at 3 bar and 8.8 l/min at 5 bar.
Approvals and Guarantee
This shower is WRAS approved and TMV2 approved, making it suitable for family bathrooms and compliant with UK water regulations.
The Sonique 3 is supplied with a 5 year manufacturer’s guarantee.

All our warranties are return to base and that it is your responsibility and liability for any charges to return the goods to us. This is clearly stated on all our product listings. We will not refund items that are clearly damaged due to misuse or due to over tightening and stripped threads when item is being fitted. If the item has been damaged by incorrect installation this will not be covered under the items warranty. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Any items that are refused delivery, will incur a £10 - £30 return delivery service charge. All items should be fitted by a qualified or competent plumber, over tightening and incorrect fitting is the biggest cause of issues and damage and is not covered under warranty.
