This is a genuine replacement carbon brush set which is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Bosch hammer drills. The brushes are utilized to conduct the current in an electric motor which powers the tool, over time due to physical contact with an armature brushes will wear away eventually requiring a replacement. This assembly includes two high-quality carbon brushes with lead wires and springs attached, please note brush holders are sold separately.
