• Funōhan (Impossibility Defense) is a suspense-thriller manga written by Arata Miyatsuki and illustrated by Yuuya Kanzaki. The story revolves around Tadashi Usobuki, a mysterious man dressed in a black suit who orchestrates murders using psychological manipulation and curses. His methods are impossible to prove scientifically, making him untouchable by the law and earning him the title of a "Funōhan," meaning an undetectable criminal. Usobuki takes advantage of the hatred and desires of those who hire him, causing their targets to die without laying a hand on them, thus avoiding any legal consequences. However, police detective Tomoko Tada, immune to his abilities, becomes determined to confront and stop him. The series explores the darker side of human nature, desire, and psychological warfare, with the cold and calculating Usobuki facing off against Tada in a tense battle of wits.
