RARE VINTAGE KANTO STARFIRE P-81 CESSNA WIND-UP TIN AEROPLANE.

On offer is a Rare Vintage Kanto Starfire P-81 Cessna Wind-Up Tin Aeroplane.

Made by Kanto in Japan the Starfire P-81 is a delightful vintage wind-up tin aeroplane manufactured in the late 1950’s, early 1960's. This charming toy hails from a different era and has captured the hearts of collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Made from tinplate, the Starfire P-81 features a childlike pilot head with a rubber helmet and glasses which can be turned round. When wound up, this little plane glides across surfaces with its white plastic propeller spinning at the same time.

The colourful original litho surface has very little wear, there are no dents or scratches, the clockwork motor runs well and it looks and displays as one would expect.

It is approximately 5" long with a 5" wingspan.

Will make a great addition for any collector of vintage or mechanical tin toys.
