Julie Andrews was born on October 1, 1935.  She found out in 1950 that she was conceived while her mother had an affair.

Starting in 1945, she performed onstage with her mother and step-father, while they performed for the troops.  From 1954-1962 she performed on Boadway.  From 1957 to 1962 she did television.  Then in 1963, she landed her first movie role in Disney's Mary Poppins.
