Stitch Patterns
Form perfect, professional-looking hems with the eXtend Easycover's 14 highly specialized stitch programs. Sew various stitch types and widths using one, two, or three needles. Using one needle, the Easycover can sew a two-thread chain stitch, two needles form a three-thread cover stitch, and three needles create a four-thread triple cover stitch.
Stitch Length Dial | Differential Feed Dial
Easily turn the stitch length dial to shorten or lengthen your stitch. The larger the number, the longer the stitch. For regular sewing, set the stitch length dial at 3 - 3.5.
For the differential feed, the dial indicates the ratio between the primary and sub-feed motion. Lower numbers are ideal for delicate fabrics that may pucker, and higher numbers work best on knits, jersey, and tricot; for regular sewing, set the differential feed dial at 1.0.
Built-in Thread Cutter
Quickly and efficiently cut your thread tails in one easy motion with the built-in thread cutter conveniently located on the left side of the machine. Best of all, you can do it one-handed!
Threading the Looper
Located in the looper area, a quick reference chart with a color-coded guide is a valuable tool for smoothly threading the machine. The color-coded thread paths make threading the looper a breeze!
Tension Lever Control
The new Fine Mode Switching Mechanism has enhanced the Tension Level Control (TLC). Switching from cotton knits to tricot, light cotton, sheer home décor, or bridal fabrics with only the flip of a switch, changing the timing and the stroke range of the take-up lever, which softens the needle thread tension. For accurate precision sewing, the correct presser foot pressure is crucial. Accommodate various fabric types and thicknesses by adjusting the pressure of the foot. Add more pressure to thinner fabrics and less pressure to thicker materials to achieve professional results.
