4xSMD LED's per Lamp. Built-in bridge rectifier and current limiting resistor in each LED lamp, so NO NEED TO ALTER THE UNIT'S POWER SUPPLY FOR THE LAMPS! JUST SNAP-IN DIRECT REPLACEMENT!
Will fit in all vintage stereo gear with standard 3AG fuse type socket (6x30mm) and AC8Vrms voltage.
If you find the lamps too bright for your taste, you can try to install the LED lamps pointing up, down or even backwards. This will give you more natural and uniform, evenly distributed light across the entire display, looking even better than the original bulbs. Or you can try to add a few layers baking (parchment) paper between the dial /display, meters/ and LED bulbs for better light diffusion.
The LED's give better light and last much longer than the incandescent bulbs. They are much more efficient and consume less current (about 40mA per LED Lamp against 200-300mA for the original incandescent bulbs) and run much cooler, avoiding the heat and melting of the plastic lamp housing!
Easy to replace! No soldering is required! These are direct snap-in replacement for the original fuse type dial and meter lamps (bulbs).
The warm white LED color will result the closest to the original incandescent bulbs tint of the dial and VU meters.
