Up for sale is a great sketch by HAROLD LEROY HARVEY (1899-1971). This is a red and black colored pen sketch. dated 1922. Signed in drawing and at bottom where it is stated "sketch for illustration" Harold Leroy Harvey is a well listed artist noted for photography, illustrations and general art. He has had numerous sales at auction and is well represented, especially his photography, is museum collections.
Drawing is on paper and measures approximately 8x10 inches. It is signed and dated in the drawing at bosom. Dated to June 3, 1922. Also signed bottom right boarder where Harvey has also written "sketch for illustration"
Interesting piece in good condition. Some wear and scratching to page. Minor dings here and there but overall in nice shape and ready to frame and hand.
