Actually, this type of pottery was made in England for export to the American market, primarily between


19th century Gaudy Dutch (Staffordshire, England) pearlware handle less cup and saucer in the sunflower pattern.


1810-1820, with some examples made through 1842. The colors are bright and mainly intact with a few areas of wear. There is some crazing in areas in the glaze. There is one small chip on cup/bowl. This set is amazingly good shape for over two hundred years old. Please see photos for condition and description.
