This specimen is a really neat calcite from Daye. There are two distinct generations - the first generation is pointed, scalenohedral or similar form. It is covered in a deep red iron oxide. The second generation is colorless. There is very little, if any, damage on the main crystal. Great specimen from this prolific mine!
