Incandescent 3V light bulbs manufactured at the "Moscow Electric Lamp Plant " during the Soviet era.
These bulbs, believed to have been manufactured since the 1960s, were used to illuminate the reticle of the PSO-1 scope. The PSO-1 was primarily paired with Russia’s renowned SVD sniper rifle and was employed to enhance visibility during dusk and nighttime operations.
Emitting a traditional bright orange glow, these bulbs improve reticle visibility in low-light conditions while being easy on the eyes, making them ideal for those who appreciate old-school shooting experiences. While modern LED bulbs have largely replaced incandescent ones, these vintage bulbs remain in demand in their country and are still traded as SVD/PSO-1-compatible replacement parts.
These light bulbs were most likely discontinued a long time ago and have started to gain premium pricing due to their rarity.
The items for sale are not loose bulbs that have been left in poor conditions and oxidized, nor are they those included in PGO-7 kits. Instead, we offer brand-new bulbs in excellent condition, taken directly from their original factory packaging.
