Measuring Tips:
Measuring for a kilt is not a rocket science, but you will need to follow these simple tips to ensure your measurements are correct.
• Have someone else measure you! attempting to measure yourself can throw off the results and NEVER GUESS by your Jeans size.
• Take the EXACT measurement of where you plan to wear the Kilt because traditional Tartan Kilts are typically worn higher on the waist (at navel or belly button). However, you can wear it wherever you like.M
• Measure in inches, Round odd sizes to nearest even size.
• WAIST: The kilt is worn just above at your natural waist at belly button, which is higher than where most men typically wear their pants today. In this way, most probably it would be 2 sizes larger than your jeans waist. This measurement should be taken fairly snug over a regular shirt.
• LENGTH: While you stand erect, back straight, have a friend kneel down at your side and find the top of your hip bone. The kilt has a 2" rise above the natural waist, so have them place the "2" on the measuring tape just at the top of your hip bone. Then, he can easily measure down the side of your hip to where you wish the kilt to fall at your knee.
• The measurement you get is the size you will order so measure twice.
